THEDDINGWORTH, a parish partly in the hundred of ROTHWELL, county of NORTHAMPTON, but chiefly in the hundred of GARTREE, county of LEICESTER, 4'miles (W. by S.) from Market-Harborough, containing, with the hamlet of Hothorpe, 264 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Leicester, and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the, king's books at £8. 15.7. John Cook, Esq. and others were patrons in 1810. The church is dedicated to All Saints. The Grand Union canal passes through the parish.
