THELNETHAM, a parish in the hundred of
BLACKBOURN, county of SUFFOLK, 3 miles (N. W.)
from Botesdale, containing 512 inhabitants. The living
is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Sudbury,
and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books
at £16. 18. 4. Dover Colby, Esq. was patron in 1816.
The church is dedicated to St. Nicholas.
