THUNDERLEY, a hamlet (formerly a distinct parish)
in the parish of WIMBISH, hundred of UTTLESFORD,
county of ESSEX, 2 miles (S. E. by S.) from
Saffron-Walden. The population is returned with the
parish. The vicarage has been consolidated with that
of Wimbish, in the archdeaconry of Middlesex, and diocese
of London. The church is in ruins.
