TREDINGTON, a parish in the lower division of the hundred of TEWKESBURY, county of GLOUCESTER, 3 miles (S.B. by S.) from Tewkesbury, containing 138 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Gloucester, endowed with £600 royal bounty, and in the patronage of the Bishop of Gloucester. The church is very small, but the churchyard is remarkable for containing a lofty pillar of one single stone, resting upon a basis of four steps.
