county of OXFORD, 6 miles (N. by W.) from Bicester,
The population is returned with the parish of Hard-
wicke. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry
and diocese of Oxford, rated in the king's
books at £3. 5., and in the patronage of Sir G. Dash
wood, Bart. The church has been destroyed.
