TWITCHEN, a parish in the hundred of SOUTH-MOLTON,
county of DEVON, 6 miles (N. B. by B.) from
South Molton, containing 162 inhabitants. The living
is a perpetual curacy, annexed to the vicarage of North
Molton, in the archdeaconry of Barnstaple, and diocese
of Exeter. The church is dedicated to St. Peter.
