ULPHA, a township, joint with Methop, in the parish
of BEETHAM, KENDAL ward, county of WESTMORLAND,
11 miles (S. S. W.) from Kendal. The population is
returned with Methop. It is bounded on the south by
the sestuary of the Kent.
