of the wapentake of GARTREE, parts of LINDSEY,
county of LINCOLN, 6 miles (W. by N.) from Horncastle,
containing 59 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln,
rated in the king's books at £7. 0. 10., and in the patronage
of the Crown. The church is dedicated to St. Margaret.
