WAITH, a parish in the wapentake of BRADLEYHAVERSTOE,
parts of LINDSEY, county of LINCOLN, 6 miles
(S. by E.) from Great Grimsby, containing 30
inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in
the archdeaconry and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the
king's books at £2. 14. 2., endowed with £800 royal
bounty. Miss Borrell was patroness in 1820. The
church is dedicated to St. Martin.
