WANSFORD, a parish in the liberty of PETERBOROUGH,
county of NORTHAMPTON, 36 miles (N. E.)
from Northampton, containing 179 inhabitants. The
living is a perpetual curacy, annexed to the rectory of
Thornhaugh, in the archdeaconry of Northampton, and
diocese of Peterborough. The church, dedicated to
St. Mary, exhibits specimens of various styles of architecture.
