hundred of OSWALDSLOW, county of WORCESTER, 2
miles (E.N.E.) from Worcester, containing 177 inhabitants.
The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry
and diocese of Worcester, rated in the king's books
at A10.0.2., and in the patronage of B. Johnson, Esq.,
as trustee for R. Berkley, Esq., a Roman Catholic. The
church is dedicated to St. Nicholas. The Birmingham
and Worcester canal passes through the parish.
