WEETING, a parish in the hundred of GRIMSHOE,
county of NORFOLK, 1 mile (N.) from Brandon Ferry,
containing, with the hamlet of Brumhill, 399 inhabitants.
The living comprises the united rectories of All
Saints and St. Mary, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk,
and diocese of Norwich, rated jointly in the king's books
at £18. 9. 9., and in the patronage of the Master and
Fellows of Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge. The
church of St. Mary has gone to decay.
