county of SUFFOLK, 7 miles (N.) from
Stow-Market, containing 234 inhabitants. The living
is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Sudbury,
and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's
books at £4. 18. l., and in the patronage of the
Rev. R. Hewitt, D.D. The church is dedicated to St.
Margaret.
