WESTON, a parish in the hundred of BROADWATER, county of HERTFORD, 4 miles (N. B. by N.) from Stevenage, containing 927 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Huntingdon, and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £10. 6. 8., and in the patronage of William Hale, Esq. The church, dedicated to the Holy Trinity, is partly Norman, and partly of later date. There is a place of worship for Wesleyan Methodists.
