county of OXFORD, 2 miles (W. S. W.) from Burford,
containing 160 inhabitants. The living is a rectory,
in the archdeaconry and diocese of Oxford, rated
in the king's books at £5. 3. 9., and in the patronage
of the Dean and Canons of Christ Church, Oxford.
The church is dedicated to St. Mary.
