WHITEPARISH, a parish in the hundred of FRUSTFIELD, county of WILTS, 8 miles (S. E. by E.) from Salisbury, containing, with the extra-parochial liberty of Earldoms, 1169 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Salisbury, rated in the king's books at £13. 7. 2., and in the patronage of Robert Bristow, Esq. The church is] dedicated to All Saints. Henry Eyre, in 1639, bequeathed £200, directing the interest to be applied for teaching twenty boys; Elizabeth Hitchcock, in 1721', left a like sum for the instruction of ten girls; and Ann Hitchcock, in 1746, gave £236 for teaching ten more.
