WHITLINGHAM, a parish in the hundred of
HENSTEAD, county of NORFOLK, 2 miles (E.S.E.) from
Norwich, containing 33 inhabitants. The living is a
perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry of Norfolk, and
diocese of Norwich, and in the patronage of
Hare, Esq. The church, which is demolished, was dedicated
to St. Andrew.
