WIBTOFT, a chapelry in that part of the parish
of CLAYBROOKE which is in the Kirby division of the
hundred of KNIGHTLOW, county of WARWICK, 5 miles
(W. N. W.) from Lutterworth, containing 112 inhabitants.
The old Watling-street and Fosse-way meet at
a Roman fort on the Leicestershire boundary, north of
this place.
