Mendlesham, containing 523 inhabitants. The living is
a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Sudbury,
and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at
£5. 8. l., and in the patronage of J.Wodehouse, Esq.
The church is dedicated to St. Andrew.
