WIGGENHALL (ST-PETER), a parish in the Marshland division of the hundred of FREEBRIDGE, county of NORFOLK, 5 miles (S. by W.) from Lynn- Regis, containing 122 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Norwich, rated in the king's books at £6, and in the patronage of the Crown. The church stands on the east bank of the Ouse: on the font are two cross keys, an emblem of the patron saint.
