WIGGINTON, a parish in the hundred of DACORUM,
county of HERTFORD, 1-J mile (S. E.) from Tring,
containing 477 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual
curacy, united with that of Tring, in the archdeaconry
of Huntingdon, and diocese of Lincoln, endowed with
£400 private benefaction, and £1200 royal bounty.
The church is dedicated to St. Bartholomew.
