WILBARSTON, a parish in the hundred of CORBY,
county of NORTHAMPTON, 4 miles (S. W. by W.) from
Rockingham, containing 697 inhabitants. The living
is a vicarage, in the archdeaconry of Northampton
and diocese of Peterborough, rated in the king's books
at £7- 17. 1., and in the patronage of Lord Sondes.
The church is dedicated to All Saints. There is a place
of worship for Independents.
