WILERICK, or WILLCRICK, a parish in the
lower division of the hundred of CALDICOTT, county
of MONMOUTH, 4 miles (E. S. E.) from Caerleon, containing
47 inhabitants. The living is a discharged
rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Llandaff,
rated in the king's books at £2. 10. 2., endowed with
£600 royal bounty, and in the patronage of Sir T. R,
Salusbury, Bart.
