WOOLLAND, a parish in the hundred of WHITEWAY,
Cerne subdivision of the county of DORSET, 8
miles (W. by N.) from Blandford-Forum, containing
135 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, annexed
to the vicarage of Hilton, in the peculiar jurisdiction
of the Consistorial Court of Milton-Abbas. The
church was rebuilt in 1745, a little to the westward
of the ancient site.
