YAPHAM, a chapelry in the parish of POCKLINGTON, Wilton-Beacon division of the wapentake of HARTHILL, East riding of the county of YORK, 2 miles (N.N.W.) from Pocklington, containing 114 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, with the vicarage of Pocklington, in the peculiar jurisdiction of the Dean of York.
