CLONKEEN, a village, in the parish and barony of
KILLIAN, county of GALWAY, and province of CONNAUGHT,
4 miles (S. W.) from Ballinamore; containing, in
1836, 250 inhabitants. It is situated on the road from
Ballinamore to Dunmore, and is the joint property of
the Hon. Martin Ffrench and D. H. Kelly, Esq.
