EFFISHBREDA, a district (extra-parochial), in the
barony of ENNISHOWEN, county of DONEGAL, and province of ULSTER,
2 miles (N. W.) from Bunerana, on
the road to Clonmany; containing 82 inhabitants, It
comprises a wild mountain district lying between Desertegney
and Lower Fahan, chiefly occupied by small
farmers, and is nominally in the parish of Desertegney.
