CORSOCK, a hamlet, in the parish of Parton,
stewartry of Kirkcudbright, 9 miles (E. by P.) from
New Galloway; containing 38 inhabitants. It lies in
the eastern confines of the parish, near the LTrr water,
and south of the high road from New Galloway to
Dumfries.
