LEEDS-NEW, a village, in the parish of Strichen,
district of Deer, county of Aberdeen, 12^ miles (W.
N. W.) from Peterhead; containing 203 inhabitants. This
village lies in the eastern extremity of the parish, on the
high road from Aberdeen to Fraserburgh.
