NEWBIGGING, a village, in the parish of AuchTERTOOL,
district of Kirkcaldy, county of Fife;
nearly adjoining the village of Auchtertool, and containing
67 inhabitants. It lies in the eastern part of the
parish, on the road from Kirkcaldy to Dunfermline;
and is wholly agricultural. The church is distant from
it about a mile, westward.
