NEWBIGGING, a village, in the parish of Tealing,
county of Forfar, 3 miles (N. W. by W.) from Murroes;
containing 88 inhabitants. It lies in the eastern extremity
of the parish, and about a mile and a half distant
from the church, which stands westward.
