GLYN-AMAN (GLYN-AMWYN), a hamlet, in that part of the parish of LLANDILO-VAWR which is in the upper division of the hundred of Iscennen, county of CARMARTHEN, SOUTH WALES, 81 miles (S. E.) from Llandilo-Vawr, containing 227 inhabitants. It is situated among the Black mountains; and the river Aman flows through it forming in one part of its course the boundary line between Carmarthenshire and Glamorganshire. The poor are maintained by a separate assessment, the average annual expenditure amounting to 40. 2.
