The living is a perpetual curacy, endowed with £1200 royal bounty, and in the patronage of the Vicar of Aberguilly, to the church of which it was formerly only a chapel of ease; net income, £48. The chapel is dedicated to St. Michael. It is situated in a vale, apart from any high road, through which flows a stream that falls into the Towy after passing by Merlin's Grove.
