The living is a perpetual curacy, annexed to the vicarage of Bayvill, and endowed with £600 royal bounty. There is a place of worship for Independents. Near the sea, within the limits of the parish, on Treriffith farm, is a well, termed in Welsh, " Fynnon Alem," and in English, " Alem's Well," the water of which is a strong chalybeate, and is considered efficacious in several diseases.
