NANTMOR, a hamlet, in that part of the parish of BETHGELART which is is the hundred of ARDUDWY, county of MERIONETH, NORTH
WALES, 2 miles {N. E.) from Bethgelart; containing 832 inhabitants. This place forms one of those glens among the
mountains at the foot of Snowdon which extend into Merionethshire; and a portion of it, called DOlvriog, has been
beautified with extensive plantations formed by W. M. Thackeray, Esq., M.D., which are now in a very flourishing state.
