TIR-ESGOB-with-RUSUMW (TIR-YR-ESGOB), a hamlet, in that part of the parish of DANDILOVAWR which is in the lower
division of the hundred of PERVETH, county of CARMARTHEN, SOUTH WALES, 1 mile (N. by E. from Llaadilo-Vawr; containing
590 inhabitants. It is situated on the weer bank of the river Towy; and the road from LlandiJe- Vawr to Llangadock passes
through it, in a direction parallel with that stream. There is a day school,.is which about 40 children are instructed at
their prow expense; and four Sunday schools, two gratuitY* conducted by Calvinistic Methodists, and two by Independents,
together contain 230 males and females.
