TREVECCA, a hamlet, in the parish and hundred of TALGARTH, county of BRECKNOCK, SOUTH WALES, 8 miles (S.S.W.) from Hay; containing 259 inhabitants. This hamlet is situated on the road from Crickhowel to Hay, at the foot of the Black Mountains, near the right bank of the river Llynvi, and contains a remarkable religious establishment, founded by Mr. Harris, and described in the article on the parish. The railway from Brecknock to Hay passes along the right bank of the Llynvi, near the village. The rateable annual value is returned at £1512.
