In 1538 there is a Quarrel Field in Aconbury, which, in 1637 is 'The Olde Land formerly Quarrell's Meadowe'. In 1553 there is, in or near Lingen, 'campus vocatus Quarrell Field'. In 1605 Thomas Quarrell was of Trevill in Wormbridge, Gent.
