AFPLETHWATE, (Westmorland) a hamlet in the p. of Winander-Mere, to whose inh. all the fishing in the Mere bel. and all the
tithe falls to the rector, who has a pleasure-boat upon the said lake, and a prescription for so much a boat, in lieu of
the tithe of all the fish that are taken in it.
