BRABROOKE, (Northamptonshire) near the head of the r. Welland, betw. Kettering and Harborough, had formerly a castle (of
which there are still some remains) built by a gentleman of the same name, father to Henry, who was a justice itinerant in
the R. of Henry III. and from whose family the estate came by marriage to the Latimers and Griffins.
