CAUSTON-HALL, (Warwickshire) near Dunchurch, bel. formerly to the Mon. of Pipwell, and had a grange, with 2. large ovens, in which bread was baked for the convents of this Co. and Northamptonshire; but, at the Ref. it was granted, by K. Hen. VIII. to Thomas Broughton, whose son, in the R. of Q. Eliz. raised the most beautiful fabrick here in all these parts, of which Will. his grandson was Owner in 1640.
