III. but recovered it, and in the R. of Edw. I. held it of the Earl of Warwick. In that of Hen. IV. the Ld. Gray of Ruthin had it, and conveyed it to John Leg, who passed it to Baldwin Boteler, in the R. of Hen. VI. but by marriage of his daughter it went to Eustace de Greenvil, whose descendants enjoyed it till the R. of Cha. I. when it was sold to Rich. Shuckborough, Here was formerly a chantry.
