CHESTER-LITTLE, (Derbyshire) on the Derwent, near Darby, was anciently a city, though a small one; but now it is a meer village, overlooked by Darby-Hill. 'Tis not doubted, but it was heretofore inhabited by the Romans, because many of their coins of different metals have been found here.
