CHIPPING-WARDEN, (Northamptonshire) on the r. Charwell, not far from Banbury, in the road to Daventry, is supposed to have been anciently a Mt. T. Wallow-Bank, at the N. end of it, is an earthen rampire, whereof a small part still remains, which is supposed to have been a fence raised by the Romans, from its form, and their coins found here,
