CORRINGHAM, (Essex) not far from the Thames, bet. Tilbury-Fort and Canvey-Island, is a manor, of which the ancient family of the Baulds, or Bauds, were Lds. as well as patrons of the Ch. appendant to it, above 300 years; and had a park bel. to their seat, from which they furnished the D. and Ch. of St. Paul's, London, with a doe on St. Paul's-day, and a buck on St. Peter's and Paul's, that were offered with great ceremony at the high altar on those fesivals, in consideration of 22 acres of land, granted by the Chapter, to be inclosed in the park.
