EGISFORD, (Devon) near Chumleigh, the seat of Coulson Fellowes, Esq; as it was formerly of the E. of Donnegal. It stands
on the Taw, and has a ford over it, a little above its junction with the Dart; it is said, that eagles used to breed
heretofore in the neighbouring woods.
