FAWBURN, (Essex) 1 m. from Witham, the manor of Edw. Bullock, Esq; whose seat here is supposed to have been formerly a
villa or country-house of some noble Roman; the rather because a silver coin of Domitian was not long ago discovered by
the Ld. of the manor's servants, under the foundation of an old wall, built partly of Roman brick.
