HONNINGHAM, (Warwickshire) near Dunsmore-Heath and the r. Leame. The manor bel. formerly to Sir Walter Cokesey, but passed by marriage to the Grevils in the R. of Edw. IV. from whom it came in that of Henry VII. to Robert Winter, by whom it was conveyed to John Underhill, who passed it in the next R. to John Acard, &c. but it was afterwards sold to Rich. Newport, who dying in the R. of Q. Eliz. left it to William his son.
