LESTORMAN, (Cornwall) on the N. side of Leftwithiel, is also called Lostormin-Castle, which was formerly a principal seat of the chief governors of Cornwall, and stood in a park of fallow deer, which, with several others, was disparked in the R. of Hen. VIII. Mr. Norden, who wrote above 160 years ago, pathetically laments its then decaying state, and says it was leased out to Mr. Samuel.
