present Earl of Buckinghamshire, had a seat here. Its Mt. which is on F. was procured in the R. of Henry III. by one Will.
Charles; the manor is now, or was lately, in the possession of the heirs of Mr. Francis Gardiner, ald. of Norwich; and the
late Ld. Fitzwilliams, a peer of Ireland, had a seat here. It has a Fair Nov. 10.
